BARC, the Baltimore Association for Retarded Citizens is a private, non-profit agency, and one of the largest organizations in the United States addressing the needs of people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities.
Providing direct services to more than 2,000 residents of Baltimore City and Baltimore County, BARC is widely recognized for improving the quality of life of persons with mental retardation through vocational training, residential services and supported employment programs.
